Sea Based X-Band Radar Development Support
Abstract
This project provides developmental operations and support for the Sea Based X-Band Radar (SBX) and its three major sub-systems: the self-propelled vessel, the X-Band Radar (XBR), and the communications network. Developmental operations and support activities include operation and sustainment of the vessel, developmental operation and sustainment of the XBR, limited XBR software support, and vessel and shoreside security. The FY 2025 budget reflects the continued development required to deliver Missile Defense System enhanced discrimination capability.
