Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM)

Abstract

Provides a low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) IRCM capability suitable for the A/MH-6 Mission Enhanced Little Bird with potential use on the MH-60 and MH-47 aircraft. The IRCM program will leverage the Department of Navy developed Distributed Aperture Infrared Countermeasure System by integrating and testing a complete lightweight IRCM systems to include a missile warning system and countermeasure capability. The IRCM program includes development of an infrared exhaust suppressor for the A/MH-6, and flare testing for emerging threats.
